Waichiro is the Co-founder and CEO of ThinkCyte, which develops machine learning-driven high-content single cell analysis and separation systems for cell therapy and clinical diagnostics. He has been involved in biotechnology over a decade. At a biotech startup, he was responsible for ophthalmic medical device development in the US and Japan. He also served as a management consultant at Monitor Group, where he focused primarily on serving leading companies in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. He graduated from the the University of Tokyo, Japan, and has an MBA from INSEAD, France.
