Entitled, “Future of Stem Cells,” the 2013 World Alliance Forum in San Francisco was held on November 15, 2013, at the Golden Gate Club in the Presidio of San Francisco. The fo-rum aimed to congratulate Dr. Yamanaka’s Nobel Prize and to accelerate regenerative medicine’s development, it was organized by the Alliance Forum Foundation, co-organized by the Govern-ment of Japan, sponsored by over 20 companies and individuals, supported by a dozen of organizations, visited by several media outlets, and attended by over 250 participants, who represented many stakeholders of regenerative medicine, including academia, industry, policy makers, regulators, funding agencies, and patients.
