Dr. Md. Matiur Rahman is the Deputy Executive Director of TMSS, a Non-Government Development Social Organization of Bangladesh, and heads the Health Sector of TMSS. He completed an MBBS degree from Dinajpur Medical College in 2002, MPH from Edward University, Bangladesh in 2006 & received his Ph.D. in 2013 from Rajshahi University. To address the healthcare needs of the country, TMSS Health Sector runs Medical College, Nursing Colleges, Allied Health Institutes, Primary Health Care Programs, Secondary and tertiary level hospitals, including specialized medical centers, like cancer care centers, Advanced Eye Care Center, etc. Dr. Rahman is actively involved in designing & implementation of these projects. As a health intrapreneur, he is leading a team to improve biomedical research and establish newer biomedical technologies to address the future health needs of the nation. For example Genomic and stem cell therapy, telemedicine at the primary health care level, and other health projects aligned to achieve SDG. He also contributes to the policy-making process of the Government in health care innovation.  He is associated with 30 reputable National & International organizations and educational institutions as the Board Member, Vice Chairman, and Life Member. He received 31 important professional training at home and abroad and participated in many seminars, symposiums & conferences as Guest of different categories, and Dignified participant and keynote speaker.
